There is a place called the African Camelot would you believe? I knew about the one in the UK, you know King Arthur and his knights, but not the one in Ethiopia. I found all about this when looking around the web for an trekking holiday. Anyway, this Camelot is in Gonder, and on this trip, you get to see the churches that were hewn out of the rock in Lalibela too
There is even a boat cruise on Lake Tana (seen some great pictures of that) and 3 days exploring the Simien Mountains National Park.
